2011 Bledsoe County Kick-Off Classic

The Bledsoe Little Blue 2011 Kick-Off Classic was played this past weekend at Roy D. Greason field.  The 2 day event saw teams from Chattanooga, Roger’s Creek, Whitwell, Sparta, Dunlap and Bledsoe compete.  In all, 17 games were played Saturday and Sunday.  The Classic brought over 3,000 visitors to Pikeville for the annual event.

                Bledsoe Little Blue would like to make a special thank you to the event’s cooperate sponsor, First National Bank of Pikeville, as well as, express our appreciation to sell’s building supply and the Bledsoe Sheriff’s Department and prisoners for their contributions to giving the entire facility a new paint job.

                Also, Bledsoe Little Blue wants to express our gratitude to all the teams who came, the 10 vendors who set up booths and the countless volunteers who contributed their time to the success of this weekend.

                A final shout-out to the Sequatchie County Youth Football League and it’s officers, fans, coaches, players and cheerleaders.  Despite our great rivalry, your willingness to help out when we needed it made our weekend a success.
